It's me - your forever photographer : Amie!

 I'm a mom of three: 2 boys and a baby girl; raising our kids with my amazing husband and capturing our story is what makes me most proud. My family lives in our forever home just outside Vernon, BC on 5 beautiful acres. We love to swim in our pool and adventure in the woods around our house. I live for the moments we spend together as the sun sets behind our little pieces of heaven. 
I grew up dancing, and my life as a ballerina eventually led me behind a camera.  I still enjoy teaching ballet and love how dance influences my portraits to convey movement even in still frames. Portraying emotion and telling a story are the cross over elements between dance and photography I try my hardest to embody in my work; these are my life's work.
I have been a professional photographer in the Okanagan for over a decade. I've spent well over 10 000 hours honing an amazing relationship with my camera and trying to perfect my craft; but I've realized the real craft is cultivating relationships with those on the other side of the camera from me. 

When you entrust your milestone moments to me I make a promise to treat them as I would my own because being your family’s photographer is the biggest honour. I love capturing the happy moments that bring families together, year after year as your family grows.
