Pricing Structure

Amie Roussel Photography’s pricing includes an initial session fee (sitting/photoshoot fee). After your photoshoot session, you’ll choose your favorite images for purchase, including professional editing by Amie.

1. Session Fee

Amie’s photoshoot session sitting fee is $200 CAD and includes a personalized styling consultation, the photoshoot session itself, and a reveal session to select your favorite images. The session fee does not include any final images (digital or printed).

2. Digital Images

High-resolution digital images are purchased following the photoshoot and reveal session. Amie will professionally edit the images of your choosing. Discounts may be available for multiple images.

3. Printed Photo Products

Professional-grade print products are available for additional purchase, including standard prints and framed photography products.

Standard Photoshoot Session

Amie Roussel’s Standard Photoshoot Session is designed to be a relaxed and enjoyable experience, ensuring you feel confident in front of the camera.

The Standard Photoshoot includes:

• Styling consultation: Start with a personalized consultation where Amie answers your questions, helps plan your session, and coordinates wardrobe styling to ensure everything aligns with your vision.
• 45-60 minute photoshoot: Enjoy a fun and relaxed session at a location of your choice, capturing natural, authentic moments.
• Reveal session: View your beautifully curated gallery and select your favorite images to create a custom package that fits your needs.

Amie’s session fee is $200 CAD. The session fee covers your photoshoot and the planning process but does not include any final images (digital or printed). This allows you the flexibility to choose only the images and products you truly love, creating a custom package tailored to your needs. Final package prices, including session fee, start at $495 CAD.

Bookings are recommended 4-6 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date. Payment of the session fee confirms your booking and begins the planning process.

Family Photoshoot Experience

Newborn Session

Newborn sessions should be booked before your baby arrives to secure a date. Ideal timing for the photoshoot is within 1-2 weeks after birth, with day 8 being the sweet spot for images. Amie is flexible and understands the uncertainty of timing during the newborn phase.

The Newborn Session includes:

• Styling consultation: Personalized planning and wardrobe styling, including access to the client closet.
• 2-hour photoshoot: Plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and capturing precious newborn moments.
• Reveal session: View your gallery and select images for your final package.

Amie’s session fee is $200 CAD. The session fee covers your photoshoot and the planning process but does not include any final images (digital or printed). This allows you the flexibility to choose only the images and products you truly love, creating a custom package tailored to your needs. Final package prices, including session fee, start at $595 CAD.

Newborn Photoshoot Experience

Specialty Packages

Amie offers custom specialty packages to suit your photoshoot vision. Whether you’re looking for an extended maternity session, an engagement session with multiple locations, event coverage, school photos, dance studio photos, or a half or full day wedding, please contact Amie directly to discuss your vision.

Seasonal Mini Sessions

Amie offers seasonal “minis” approximately twice per year. These mini sessions occur on pre-set dates and times at a stylized set location designed by Amie. Seasonal mini session time slots are first available to Amie’s previous clients before being opened up to the public.

Mini sessions include a short styling consultation and a 20-25 minute photoshoot for a quick, fun experience. Pricing of each round of minis is variable and depends on factors such as the stylized set and location.

Customizing Your Experience

Each session with Amie includes a tailored experience, from wardrobe styling and location selection to a reveal session where you can choose your favorite images and products. Amie’s goal is to make the process seamless, stress-free, and enjoyable, ensuring you love every moment—and every photo.

Sessions are available at Amie’s Vernon studio or on location in the Okanagan Valley and surrounding areas.
