Welcome to Amie Roussel Photography! By booking a session or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
General information
Amie Roussel Photography provides professional photography services, including but not limited to portraits, weddings, events, and branding sessions. All services are subject to availability and must be booked in advance.
Booking & payment
- A signed contract and a non-refundable deposit are required to secure your session date.
- The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to or on the day of the session. Payment plans may be available upon request.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled session will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Rescheduling policy
- Sessions may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, such as illness or inclement weather.
- Clients must notify Amie Roussel Photography at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule without penalty.
Image rights & usage
- Amie Roussel Photography retains the copyright to all images produced during sessions.
- Clients receive a personal and commercial use license for the final edited images. These images may not be altered, edited, or resold without written consent.
- Amie Roussel Photography reserves the right to use images for promotional purposes, including but not limited to website galleries, social media, and advertising. Clients may request to opt-out of this usage in writing prior to the session.
Delivery of images
- Final edited images will be delivered digitally within 2-4 weeks of the session unless otherwise specified.
- Print products, if ordered, may take additional time for production and delivery.
Limitations of liability
- While every effort is made to provide exceptional service, Amie Roussel Photography is not liable for circumstances beyond control, including equipment failure, inclement weather, or unforeseen events.
- In the unlikely event that the session cannot proceed, liability is limited to the return of any payments made.
Client responsibilities
- Clients are responsible for arriving on time and prepared for their session. Additional time needed due to lateness may incur extra charges.
- For minors, a parent or guardian must be present during the session and assume responsibility for the child’s behavior.
Confidentiality & privacy
Amie Roussel Photography respects your privacy. Personal information collected during the booking process will only be used for service delivery and communications related to your session.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
